Finding God In The Midst Of Our Brokenness

Theme: "Finding God in the Midst of Our Brokenness"

Scripture Reference: Genesis 3:9 (NIV)
"But the Lord God called to the man, 'Where are you?'"

Points:
1️⃣ The Divine Pursuit: Despite our brokenness, God seeks us out. In Genesis 3:9, we witness God's relentless pursuit of Adam and Eve after they sinned. This reveals God's unending love and desire to restore fellowship with His creation.

2️⃣ Our Hiding Places: Just as Adam and Eve hid from God, we often hide our brokenness, shame, and sin. We may try to cover up our mistakes, but God sees through our faΓ§ade. He calls out to us, not to condemn, but to offer forgiveness, healing, and restoration.

3️⃣ The Invitation to Vulnerability: God's question, "Where are you?" invites us to be vulnerable and honest with Him. He already knows our hearts, but He longs for us to open up and acknowledge our need for Him. It is in vulnerability that we find true healing and transformation.

4️⃣ Embracing God's Grace: Rather than running away, let us respond to God's call with humility and repentance. Just as Adam and Eve received God's grace, we too can experience His forgiveness and restoration. God's grace is greater than our brokenness, and it is through His grace that we find hope and redemption.

Other References:
πŸ“– Psalm 139:7-12 - God's omnipresence and His awareness of our every hiding place.
πŸ“– Isaiah 30:18 - God's longing to show us compassion and grace.
πŸ“– 1 John 1:9 - The promise of forgiveness and cleansing when we confess our sins.
πŸ“– Romans 8:1 - The assurance that there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.

Let us remember that no matter how broken or lost we may feel, God is always seeking us out. He calls us to come out of hiding and embrace His love, forgiveness, and restoration. May we respond to His call with open hearts and experience the transformative power of His grace.

FAITH THAT CONQUERS | Jan. 04.2025 - Numbers 13:30 "Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, 'We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.'" In this verse, Caleb's faith stands as a bold declaration against fear and doubt. While others saw giants and obstacles, Caleb saw God's promise and power. His confidence was not in human strength but in God's faithfulness. Today, you may face "giants" in your life—overwhelming challenges or seemingly impossible situations. Let Caleb’s faith inspire you to trust in God’s promises. Silence the voices of fear and declare, "With God, I can certainly overcome!"
